Brasenose College, Oxford unites with BRIT and embraces the BRIT 2021 Challenge

We are delighted that Brasenose College, Oxford is uniting with us to support young adult mental health throughout the UK and has take on the BRIT 2021 Challenge.

To ensure students and staff at the University of Oxford's 31 colleges were aware the opportunity to enter teams and participate in the BRIT 2021 Challenge, personal emails were sent to the President/Master/Principal/Rector/Warden/Dean/Provost of every college.

We are grateful to Mr John Bowers QC, the Principal of Brasenose College, Oxford for sharing details of the BRIT 2021 Challenge with their Junior Common Room (JCR) and Hulme Common Room (HCR).

Efa Jones, Brasenose College, Oxford JCR Sports Representative has kindly shared the reasons why they are taking part;

“Brasenose College are excited to be taking part in the BRIT 2021 Challenge to support and improve young adult mental health and fitness throughout the UK.

The mental health of all students and staff at Brasenose College is a priority; particularly with the COVID-19 pandemic compounding existing mental health challenges faced by many young adults.

It is great to know that all donations raised by the BRIT 2021 Challenge will be shared equally between five mental health charities who support students and young adults.

The BRIT 2021 Challenge is a super opportunity for our students and staff to take part in a feel-good fundraiser and it’s fantastic that the challenge has been designed to enable young adults of all abilities to participate on campus or at home with many different ways to participate.

Our students and staff can add their miles to the Brasenose College team’s 2,021 mile target and feel connected, have fun and know they are making a difference with any donations they raise.

Efa Jones

Brasenose College JCR Sports Representative

We wish every student and staff member at Brasenose College, Oxford, good luck with their 2,021 mile target and fund-raising efforts. Thank you for your support!
