Row Britannia's collaboration of mental health charities meet to discuss strategy

On Thursday, in Leeds, our collaboration of mental health charities met to discuss our joint strategy in support of student and young adult mental health and was hosted by Rosie Tressler OBE, CEO of Student Minds.

We were delighted to be joined by;

Clare Stafford, CEO of The Charlie Waller Memorial Trust

Hamish Elvidge, CEO of The Matthew Elvidge Trust

Hazel Russell - Head of Fundraising at PAPYRUS - Prevention of Young Suicide

Our thanks to all our mental health charity partners for coming together and discussing the strategy of how we will work together in support of student and young adult mental health.

The intent of Row Britannia is to raise funds for our mental health charity partners by challenging every University Chair, Vice-Chancellor and College Principal to secure pledges from businesses and match their student's £1.5million fundraising target in aid of Sport Relief.

If every one of the 137 University Chairs takes on the Row Britannia Leadership Challenge and raises £12,000 over 4 months (and supports their Vice-Chancellors and local College Principals in their fundraising efforts) they would raise £1.5million for our partner charities who support their students.
