We are delighted that students at the University of Leicester studying Nursing and Leadership have teamed up with students studying Midwifery to take on the BRIT 2021 Challenge.
We were delighted that both the University of Leicester and De Montfort University took on our BRIT 2020 Row Britannia Challenge. Sadly, both universities were unable to complete their challenge or fundraising targets due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The support and enthusiasm from both universities was tremendous, and we hope this is the first of many teams from the University of Leicester and De Montfort University to take on the BRIT 2021 Challenge.
“The BRIT vision resonates with the University of Leicester as we too are determined to support the mental health of students and staff throughout the UK with events and engagement. We were delighted to take part in the BRIT 2020 Row Britannia Challenge and host BRIT’s Founder, Phil Packer, at our University.
COVID-19 restrictions have impacted all of us and, as a result, our students were sadly unable to complete their challenge and reach their fundraising targets. We are thrilled that BRIT is delivering their BRIT 2021 Challenge for students throughout the UK to take part in many different ways, both on campus or at home.
At Leicester, we are Citizens of Change. By working in partnership with De Montfort University, we hope to engage as many students as possible in an inspirational and fun event to improve their mental health and fitness, all whilst raising funds for charity.
