The University of South Wales (USW) embraces and champions the BRIT 2021 Challenge

We are delighted that the University of Wales and University of Wales Students' Union are embracing and championing the BRIT 2021 Challenge to support and improve young adult mental health and fitness.

It was a pleasure to visit the university in December 2019 as part of the 5-month UK-wide tour of universities and colleges for the BRIT 2020 Row Britannia Challenge.

We are sincerely grateful to Professor Julie Lydon, Vice Chancellor of the University of Wales, for all her support in 2019/20 to encourage the Vice Chancellors of all Welsh universities to embrace the challenge.

The support from the Department of Sport over the past two years has been tremendous and we are most grateful to Steve Savage, Head of Sport and to both Marc Crowley and Lewys Thomas in the USW Sport team for leading Team USW's BRIT 2021 Challenge.

We are delighted that the University of Wales Students' Union are supporting the BRIT 2021 Challenge as part of Team USW and encouraging their students to take part.

Shannon Lee is the Students' Union President and we are sincerely grateful to Shannon for championing the BRIT 2021 Challenge and encouraging every Welsh Students' Union to unite with us in support of young adult mental health and enter teams;

We wish every student and staff member at USW good luck with their 2,021 mile challenge and fundraising target. Thank you so much for your support!
